Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress who is best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio she left high school and moved into Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. While struggling financially she landed her first role as the title character in the video on-demand show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. The actress was able to secure an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002, for her role as the 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder in Greenwich. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. She was the main protagonist for two seasons and won the Screen Actors Guild Award. After leaving the show, Grace would like to be as a film actress, and had starred opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. The actress was on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) as well as opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in the year 2008. In 2008, she played the same role in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace played Shannon again in Lost's final episode and two other episodes. She was in 2013 for the sixth season of Californication. She plays Faith an actress in a group and as her muse to the stars that catches the attention of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She is part of the Gyllenhaal family and is the younger sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began as an early teenager, as she was cast in minor parts in a few films directed that her father directed. She also worked with her brother in the 2001 cult film Donnie Darko. Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind which was released in 2002 as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) as well as the love story Secretary (2002). The two movies were critically acclaimed. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008, following several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006) which brought her greater recognition, was a huge success for Gyllenhaal. Her performance in Crazy Heart as a mother with a single child earned her nomination to an Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. She then appeared in dramas and comedies which included Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 Other roles she has played include the role of a Secret Service agent in the action thriller White House Down (2013) as well as a singer in the film Frank (2014) and The title role in the film The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal was first introduced as a director and writer in 2021, with her psycho-drama The Lost Daughter. For the film, she won an award for the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and received nominations for the Academy Award.
