Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. Growing up she was influenced by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic performances. Ana began learning and singing music with her mother, and commenced more serious vocal training at the age of 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. As a student and as a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choruses. Following her move to America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she relocated to southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and love for music. Ana is also a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to sing the same.
