Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actress and television presenter. Her most well-known work is the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her career in show business in the early years of her life. When she was 16years old, Alexandra was able to land prominent roles in a variety of shows on television. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. Downfall received nominations for an Oscar and received critical and commercial success. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra worked on several significant international and national productions throughout her career. Among others, these projects include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as many other. She was also a member of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
